Welcome to Room 6

We are the new Room 6 kids for 2017. We have 20 kids altogether, 12 girls and 8 boys. We have spent the day today settling in and getting to know each other. 

Jack, Enzo and Connor received the Room 6 end of year certificates.  They have worked so hard all year and I am so proud of them. They have been excellent role models to everyone else in Room 6. I wish them well as they move into Room 7 next year.   

What a star!

Connor carefully followed the instructions in his reading book to make his racing car. It looks exactly like the one in the book. What a star you are Connor.

Garden Update

Room 6 love watching the progress that their vegetables and herbs are making. We measured the progress last week. We have only a couple of plants that for some reason did not grow. The others are looking great. Hopefully some will be ready to take home when we leave for the holidays.

Hamilton Gardens

These smiley faces tell it all.  We had a fabulous day on Wednesday at the Hamilton Gardens. It was a great way to end our unit on Planting and Growing. The kids loved seeing the vegetables and herbs and we hope that our school garden will produce big healthy plants like we saw at the gardens.  

A big thank you to all the parents who came along to help on the day. 

Room 6 & 7's busy morning.

We had Room 7 visit us this morning. They helped us with our activities and with our reading. Kathy snapped some of the action.

Garden Update 11/11/2016

It is very exciting to watch our plants growing. Emmie and Oceane will soon be able to take some lettuce and radish home.
