The latest from Room 6.

We said goodbye to Sabana on Friday. She had been visiting for 6 weeks, we were sad to say goodbye.

Next term Miss Williams is coming into our class for 8 weeks. She is training to be a teacher. She has been visiting us once a week and we are very excited about having her in our Room. Miss Williams has lots of ideas that she is going to share with us.

Our class will look a bit different next term because some of our friends are moving into Room 7 and we are getting some new friends from Room 5. We will post a new photo when we are all together.

Gala

We all had a great night at the Gala on Wednesday. We had a big turn out of Room 6 children attending, only one could not make it. We had some good stories about the night. It sound like the bouncy castle and the candyfloss were firm favourites. Here is some of our work.

Born to learn

Life Education Trust

On Monday at 10am we will be visiting the Life Education Mobile Classroom.
Our study is called "All Together". We will be learning about how special we are and what makes us unique. This ties in nicely with what we have been studying this term, about how we are all different and how we learn in different ways.
'In the whole wide world there will never be another one of you...' (Life Education Trust).

Here's the link to the website.
It contains games, pictures, songs and lots more. Go check it out! :)

The children work hard in Room 6 to be a team player. Our groups are made up of children of varying abilities and they all work together to help each other at given tasks. Here are some photos of our groups in action

Swimming

Swimming has finished for the year as it is getting a bit colder. We have been impressed with the confidence that the children have been showing in the pool. They are all happy to put their heads under the water. Those who have had swimming lessons have shown considerable progress in the pool.
