Room 5 & 6 buddies.

Room 6's top readers having been going into Room 5 to listen to a buddy read at "Nothing but Reading" time. This is going very well. 

This is what the Room 5 children have to say about their Room 6 buddy.
Oceane is filling my bucket because she is helping me to read.

Oakley tells me the words and I tell him that I know the words myself.

Life Education

We had the Life Education classroom here this week. We were learning about how we are unique and how to be a good friend to others. 

Cross Country

Room 3 & Room 6

We had a fantastic morning with the big kids in Room 3. They taught us how to use our new chrome books, without a mouse. We will use these chrome books as part of our learning in Room 6.

Bruce Potter

Stanley Ave were very fortunate to have Bruce visit this week.  He is a very talented  author and illustrator. Bruce entertained the children with his doodles and funny stories. 

Maths with Mr Moody

We had a great session on measurement with Mr Moody. He carried out a series of hands on, exciting activities with two groups. 
In this lesson, the children couldn't believe that the yellow container could hold more water than the coke bottle.
